ABOUT
race info
The Yakima Mile is a one-mile, point-to-point road race, opening a gradual downhill course along Yakima Ave and finishing in the shadows of the historic Art Deco Larson Building. The mile is a distance accessible for many ability levels at any age. The total prize purse for the 2023 race exceeds $50,000 – and on July 1st at 6 PM, the 4th Annual Yakima Mile, Presented by Home2 Suites and Tru by Hilton–Yakima Airport, will commence and we anticipate seeing some speedy performances across the board.
The goal remains the same — to provide an accessible and healthy community event open to everyone; highlighting and celebrating the Yakima Valley on a local, regional, and national scale. All proceeds go directly to the YWCA Yakima, which provide invaluable services to the survivors of domestic violence.
